An excellent start to a worthwhile part of our
history. Thank you for taking the time to tell the stories of
America's Greatest Generation. They are leaving us fast! Please keep
up this good work so that others may see it. If their stories are
not told as they remember them they will be lost for future
generations to learn from.

What an excellent resource! Thank you for all
your hard work putting this together. I'd love to (and probably
will) use this web site with my high school English students!

Your project is a tremendous undertaking that
will create a greater understanding of the people and issues that
shaped our world in the past. I commend you for your perseverance
and diligence. Your efforts uplift our ancestors and duly honors
them - a gift you should be proud of.

This website will be an interesting comparison
between the American point of view of the war and the Japanese,
German, and Soviet, when we get all the letters up it should
juxtapose these views to reveal more about the people as a whole.

As a retired Air Force pilot and avid fan of
military history, especially from WWII, I applaud your class and
teacher, Mr. Jim Triesler, for taking on such an important and
fascinating project. It is vital that we preserve and promote the
sacrifices that generation made to secure our freedom.

I am very comforted every time I see [my grandfather’s] picture and his read his words on your site. It means a lot that what he did is preserved.

I love your project because it teaches young people what is behind the war news and history books.

I just looked at some of your website, and I am truly impressed. I hope at some point [my students] will be interested in the same type of project. |
