Dear Dottie,

Please excuse the V-mail but it is all I have at the present time. Received your nice letter and was very glad to hear from you. I thought maybe you had forgotten me. No, I haven’t received the picture of you as yet. Hope you had a nice vacation? I am going to write to Dew tonight. Some would like to see him again. Sure, I’d like you to write to me a lot more. I have a picture of myself but I can’t send it in this kind of letter. Don’t know when I’ll get back to the States if ever. Sure hope it is soon? Well I must close now so he good keep well and write soon. God be with you.

Love, Arthur
