Dear Dottie,

Well honey, I’m back at camp now and I sure miss being free. How are you now? Hope you aren’t sick anymore and are well. I’ve been waiting for a letter from you but none have come yet. Not mad at me are you? Gosh, I’d like to see you before I go back to Germany but I think that is impossible as I’m going to go to Virginia from here, I think. Oh yes, I meant every word I told you those nights. It was all the truth. Of course I’ll probably never have a chance with you but I’ll still keep up hope.

Heard from Irving yet? Looks like he’ll be out by June, doesn’t it? Well that’s all for now so be good, keep well and if you can’t be good, be careful.

                                                                                                  Lots of Love,

                                                                                                        Arthur
