Dearest Dot,

I guess it is about time I get to writing a few letters again. I think it has been a couple days since I have written to you.

I’ve seen Irv quite a bit the last few days. He came up and was telling me about the letters he got from home. He showed me the valentines he got from you and your mother. They were very nice. I hope it won’t be too long before we can get back to the states. We were talking about those nice tender steaks we could get at home. We both got hungry talking about it. Of course we talked about good beds and a nice bath also.

What have you been doing for excitement lately? I would sure enjoy a good movie. I haven’t tasted a Coke for so long I’ve forgotten what they are like.

By the way honey, have you taken any snap shots lately? If so I’d certainly appreciate one. I sent for films, but I guess it will be months before I get them. I hope to get all the packages I sent for.

Well Darling I can’t think of much to write about, so I’ll sign off for now and hope I get a long letter from you soon. Write soon.

                                                                                                                                                Love,
