??????????? It is rather chilly to be sleeping out in tents.? But our biggest problem is dry cleaning.? We will be spending most of our time in the field from now on.? I have seen many strange and wonderful things since docking.? Write as often as possible.? Need nothing at the present.

Dear Family,

I am writing this from our mess in a pyramidal tent in the mountains.? Yes, we're back in the field but we do all right.? Have electric light - we took our generator out with us.? Am listening to the AEF radio station in [censored]? Food is good and plentiful.? We move nearer the Mediterranean for different training soon but censorship prohibits telling you.? Miss a lot of things, but conditions are really good.? We have movies, our own club in an adobe hut (build by German prisoners), a PX that sells necessities, and passes to the closer cities.? To date I have received no word from you.? A more complete letter follows.                                                                ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Love to all,

Henry
