Dear Elva,
Yes it is mail from me I guess you think I have forgotten all about you but honest I have not. Thanks a lot for the birthday card it arrived on time and made me feel very good. Well I suppose you are enjoying the beach these days say I sure would like to be up there with you to take a nice dip and cool off[;] the weather here in Germany is very hot just like our summers back in the states. Elva, I have a camera and I am going to surprise you, I had some snaps taken yesterday here in my office (I am in charge of 74 people) and if they are at all good promise to send you a set. Say, you should see this office of ours, modern to the last light switch. My desk looks like a Generals. Well hon, as news is very scarce I will sign off for this time so again with all my love I remain.
