Dear Mom and Pop:

Nothing much doing as the president so I thought I would take the chance and drop you a few lines.

I just came back from getting my picture badge.  That is really something. At least on my I.D. card it resembles me a little, but this, I look like a dogs.

I won’t be home this weekend for sure.  I have a chance to drive up to New York but I don’t think I’ll go as it costs too much.  I guess it’s just about like Philly only a little bigger, as I don’t think I would get a very large charge out of it.

Well. I can’t think of anything to write to you that would be of any interest so I guess I’ll close these few lines for now.  Take care of yourselves now and don’t do too much work, just take it easy.

            See you soon.

                        All my love

                                    Alfred
