Dear Mom and Pop:

Well tomorrow morning we’ll be in Pearl Harbor. Then from there we’ll be on our way to the states. In about 7 days from now I hope to be on a fast train heading for Philadelphia.

There’s not much to write about as it’s a pretty monotonous trip for 6 days. There’s one thing though that I did accomplish, I didn’t get seasick.

Well I’m going to close now. It wasn’t much to read, but is just enough to let you know I’m on my way home. Take care of yourselves. Don’t bother to write. All my love,

Alfred.
