Dear Mom & Pop:
I’m sorry
that you didn’t hear from me for about a week. But don’t worry if you don’t
hear from me all the time. As far as the shirts go, it doesn’t matter what you
do with them.
I went down to the beach Sunday and
its pretty nice. Its still
pretty cold yet but it was swell lying out on the beach. After that we ate and
took in a movie and then sat around the U.S.O. for a while. Its
about 7 o’clock now and Boa Hopa on. It seems funny
that all the programs are earlier out here. Well we only have 8 more weeks to
go and that sure sounds good. Well I’m going to close these few lines as I go
on guard duty in a little while.
