Dear Mom + Pap

Well I arrived safely after a pretty quick train ride. It took us about 5 days to get out here. San Diego is a pretty nice looking base, its also good chow. It’s about the most G.I. place in the country, and they really rush you around. We start school in a few days, for a course of 16 weeks. I’m not sure about the 16 weeks but that’s what I hear.

I also might get a leave after I finish school but we’re not counting on that. Right now I’m in a barracks that just hang around until there class starts. While we’re in here we have work details. I guess I’ll never get away from them.

Well I’ll have to close now all my love.
