Dear Mom and Pop,

I just received your letter after getting out of “sick bay”. I had to go there Sunday morning because I was up all night long from something I ate I think. I went to the toilet about 10 times during the night. But one thing to be said is you can really take it easy in “sick bay.” All I did was sleep and read magazines. I feel fine now and boy do I hate to get back to the routine.

I just came back from the Canteen and had my picture taken over. The first ones didn’t take. I guess you’ll get them in about two weeks.

I’ll be glad when I’m through with the dentist and then I’ll begin to fill out.

I hope you are better soon and don’t you go around worrying about me whether I’m sick or not, and also don’t worry about me getting like the fellow that Evelyn goes out with. Well I’ll have to close, all my love. (P.S. OVER)

When you write again make my Barracks No. 329-L instead of 331-L like I have been. Please change it in church and tell everyone you can as it saves me a little trouble anyway.

All my love,

Alfred
