Dear Joy,

I haven’t had any mail for several days, so I don’t have anything to write about.  No news here, and, I haven’t been anywhere, so, it is hard to find anything to write.  I did get a letter from Dad, and, he said that Sue was a little better.  There is lots of scuttlebutt going around here about us leaving here, but, don’t know anything about it.  Maybe we will get to see the Islands yet.  I hope to get some snapshots Sunday if the weather is clear.  This is my Sunday off, so I may go somewhere.  How is the weather there?  Wonder if Bob and the gang are getting any ducks.  Tell Vaughn that it is o.k. if he hets one extra deer this year.  He can charge it to me.  That’s all for this time.

                                                                                                 Love,

                                                                                                  Tom
