Hello Mrs. Moore

How’s your little heart.  Say you’re a fine one.  You owe me a letter and all the time you take is to knock out a few lines on the type writer.  I received the shirt and tie and the size is right.  Thanks a lot for taking the time and trouble.  You know all about the canary Mary is going to buy.  Tell her if she buys a package of Hartz mountain top bird food and sends the box top together with 10 cents to the same name in the care of C.K.L.W. radio station Windsow, Ontario, they will send her a booklet on the care of canaries and a sample of bird seed and song restorer.  It’s a well know advertized product and I’d imagine you can buy it at any Woolworths or at a Kiesers 5 and 10 cent store.  You promised to write and tell me about the neighborhood and friends.  You never did. I wish you would when you get around to it.  We have snow and cold weather here now and it’s been 6 below in northern Mich.  The plant only worked four days last week on account of Good Friday.  It’s the first time that happened in a long time according to the old timers.  I hear there’s a lay off due.  Right at this minute I got Westinghouse K.O.K.A. Pittsburgh radio station on the air the reception ain’t so hot.  The local police calls keep butting in.  It’s Sunday night, 6:30 with Ted Weems and his orchestra.  I get some hot dance music some nights thru – K.O.K.A. – W.J.A.S. and W.C.A.E. their all Pitts. Stations.  Where do you do your dancing now, is that hall still up at the top of Moultrie St.? I have some birthday greeting cards that I’m going to send I don’t know your dates but mine is June 26, 1905.  I didn’t know till I got my birth certificate.  Send yours and the rest.  Well, Pauline I’m going to sign off and tune in Jack Benny program.  So-long.  Your bro.
