My dear wife:

It was a little relief to hear that you are feeling somewhat better I was and I still am worried about you.

The time seems to be going so slow for you to have that baby. Won’t he ever come? There are only three days now until the 10th, but I personally don’t think it will happen yet. I think you have another week or so to go yet.

It is awfully hard for me also livening for the next week mail to come around. I wish this war were over. It is so hard to be away from you. You just have to come back to me sometime again.

I would like to have this morning Call sent to you, you should know what is happening back at home. I get it almost every day, and it is good to read it.

I have to go now and scrub the barracks being this is Friday night. I will be writing to you again tomorrow.

I love you so very much and I guess you know that. I wanted you to know I am always thinking about you.

I love you my dearest wife

You are so good

Preston
