My dearest Gerry:

I wanted to write last night but went and had my hair set so it being 11:15 and my room-mate fast asleep no could do.

Johny Eye and I are going to the new store this morning to check in all the supplies and the rest of the gang will trot in at 8 A.M. tomorrow. I’m quite excite about the whole thing not that it will be any better, but it will be something new and lots of work so I don’t have too much time on my hands.

I don’t think we will work on Sunday, so if you come I will see you after all.

So far I have two assistant cashiers, one being broken in, in Wt. Plains, the other in New York. My, my, too bad now they will have to learn my way all over. I’ll try not to be too tough. I know both girls and they are swell but I don’t want to have to make a selection because I would be on the spot. Only one of my gumbarda friends is coming with me.

Well Gerry, my chauffeur is tooting so I will close for now.

                                                                                                Love,

                                                                                                Eileen.

P.S. never did send that package to the Gap just got it yesterday. Guess you will have to use it.
