Wed 10 PM

My dearest Gerry:

Only 67 hours and you will be with me. This has been a long week but the rest of it will pass quickly especially Saturday evening and Sunday .

I received your anniversary letter and particularly like your intention to do something about it .

Tomorrow evening I am going to Kay Byrne’s house for dinner. Her brother is the boy whose ear I bent about my Gerry at the party after Carolyn’s   wedding.

Andre gave me a very simple hair style neat and orderly-I wonder how you will like it.

Outside of receiving him this morning and a letter from you it was a very dull day.

I am going to sleep in a hurry so I can wake up to have only 57 hours left to wait.

                        Keep praying

                                                            Love

                                                                        Eileen.
