Dearest Clara,

Honey, it will soon be time we get some shut eye, so I’ll get this done.  The boys just brought the mail so I got 6 from your air mails.  I haven’t had time to read any of them just yet, but I will pretty soon.  This evening I helped to build some more on our shed, we were busy, until dark.  All of us sure peps up when there is mail for us.  You know how it is don’t you dear?  I always can write you long letters when I get mail regular.  I answered the fine that I got this morning, so I told you all the news in the other one.  I love you dear, so be real careful for me won’t you.  Write real often.

All my love & kisses to my dear wife Clara,

                                                                                                      Johnny
