                        Dearest Clara,

It is now eight o-clock honey. By the time I get this written, it will be time to hit the hay. I got both pair f my glasses fit to my face. They feel much better. How are your glasses honey; are the frames holding up good? I hope someday we can both have a pair of the new style don’t you sweetheart. I am fine except once in a while my neck hurts me, like it did when you used to rub it with alcohol. It makes my head ache some times. I hope Grandma is well now. You probably are back home now. I still don’t know what to tell you honey, but you know how I feel, so you can use your own judgement, just so you are careful. You can write and tell me later. I am good for you dear. Write soon.

With all my love and kisses

                                                                                                To my dear Wife Clara

                                                                                                Your husband Johnny S.
