VE Day!!

Hi Pal,

I think your letter today brought me good luck. My Italian friend, Angelo, came tonight. Gosh, I was so excited. I didn’t know what to say. He is a very nice guy. All the girls at work were waiting for us to meet. Now I can make them all happy.

I hope mom is feeling better, tell her to some some blood for her self. My mother isn’t feeling so well either. We want her to go a doctor, but you know how they are. Is Claire with Jim? I suppose so. Leona’s boyfriend is in Norfolk Va. He is going to school for 12 weeks; then you know where, out to Tokyo. She feels bad, she is going home with him, to his family.

It is very cold up here. I wonder if it will even get warm. I saw The Picture of Dorian Gray! It sure was something, it has plenty of philosophy in it. I also saw “The Three Caballareos” it was very colorful.

I guess this is enough for now.
