Beloved: Today I will tell you how it is when I give Louie her first bottle of the day (she always goes 8 hours from her last night bottle and the first day bottle). She wakes me at 6:00 A.M., then, before I even look at my adorable time killer, I go put her bottle on the heat. Then I spread her folded bath towel on my bed, and lift her out basket and place her on the changing towel. (She is always very wet, and has usually doodooed at that time of morning!) I take off her nightie, diaper, and undershirt, and, if the room is warm I leave her naked to kick and play while I scrub her little bottom, powder it and… then put dry bedding in her bed. If it’s cool, I underdress her and cover her loosely with her cotton blanket, so she can kick beneath it. By the time I’ve prepared her and her bed, the bottle is warm. I dress her, tie on her lil bib, and wrap her securely in her cotton blanket. Once I sit down with her in my left arm, and she takes her bottle she cries so noisily – smacks her lovely lips and makes her lil piggie gobbling sounds. It takes 20 minutes, the burping takes time. Then she dozes off in my arms and I untie her bib, and kiss her and lie her in her basket. She plays for about three hours, then has a sun bath and a tub bath, and another bottle. I adore her. Darling, God has been very good to us! Specifically to me, cause I have you! Your love is mine and I’m your wife.
