Wednesday 8

Hello.

Received your letters the other day and I was glad to hear from you. I am sorry but I can’t make it home. You see they figure I had my 10 day Furlough   and I’m not allowed to have any more time. I expect to ship from hear in the next three weeks. I will go to Tangley Field, New Port News, VA or Mitchell Field, N.Y.C that’s the way things stand. I am flying every day now. I was assigned to a crew that had half of its training completed so I leave here early. I have to fly tonight from 7 to 1. Well I have to take off now and take a shower. See you

Love John

Ps. I went swimming down on the great Savannah Beach last Sunday I’ll still take Lynn. Say will you send me my “question and answer” book (Radio) by Nelson and Henning. It is a small blue book also a Radio antenna I found book (every year) and an amateur License book. OK
