Dear Mom.

Got your letter the other day.  Sory not to have written you more often, but I have written two or three letters that you haven’t received yet.

The weather over here is getting a little colder now.  The natives around here say that they get about six inches of snow in the winter.

Did I tell you that I flew over here by plane?  It was the first time I ever flew.  Don’t think I am too crazy about it.

Got a letter from Bernice the other day.  They are all kicking around as usual.

Saw a movie last night Abbot and Costello in “Hit the Ice”—pretty good.

Well guess I have told about all the news, so will close.  Write soon,

Love, John.
