Hello Dot

Well honey have a little time so will drop you a few lines.

I am feeling O.K. I guess.  Wait just a minute till I check up. ha ha.  You must no by now that I am some where in Italy.

Hope this finds all you folks well.

Head Viety may have to come in soon.  It sure will be tough on Hazel.  Hear it takes both of them to handle that kid.  Boy was I glad to hear Marie got a place.  It’s a pretty nice spot out there.  Think it must be near where Ray Sallot used to live.  It sure is a lot better for the kids.  That joint where she was had me worried.  That gas heat was no dam good.  She writes she’s so well pleased with it.

Well honey child hope you haven’t washed all the paint off.  Bet that poor little house has got hell.  Poor old Gordon how I feel for him. ha ha.  Bet he hasn’t had a minutes rest this spring.

How’s my little gals getting along in school.  The mail is kind of slow over here.  Haven’t heard from them lately.  I move so much the mail can’t catch up with me.  But when I do get it. WOW to much writing then.

Dot you can send cigs and a box if you want to.  But the candles in the box can always use them here.  Tell my little man I miss him.  Will harry home as fast as I can to see him.  Boy him and I are going to have a big time.  It will sure be a great day for the Irish when I walk in that back door.  I do mean that back door. ha.

Say hello to Mary for me.  Tell her I received the cigs.  Give my best to Hazel also.  Tell ma to get ready for a good bust.  Did she have a good trip.

Well honey will have to sign off for now.  Duty calls so will have to go again. ha ha.  Poor old jerry gets hell picked out of him night and day.  Loads of love and kisses.

Jim
