Dear Brother Steve:

Hi there Steve, how are you today. In the very best of health I hope. As for us here at home we are all okay. Well today being Monday Mom and Helen as usual went up to the Monastary. Well our Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Brooklyn Dodgers a doubleheader today again. Well the Bucs present winning streak is five games in a row. They are far out in second place. See, they sure are good. We had some rain here today and the weather was warm. We were all sure glad to get a letter from you today. It sure was interesting and was a swell letter. Please keep on writing Sarge and tell us all about yourself. We will always write handsome. So you would like us to send pictures, okay Steve as soon as we take somemore pictures then we will send you them. I sure hope that you are taking a lot of pictures. Keep smiling like always Steve. Well I guess that I will have to close for tonight. God bless you Steve and the very best of luck from all of us. Please take very good care of yourself.

Love and kisses, your brother, Johnny
