Monday morning

[Mar 6 1944]

Dear Mom –

I’m leaving the Hospital this morning feeling fine again – We’re going out into the field on a 2 week Bivouac – It’s raining like the devil this morning so they may post pone it for a day –

I wrote Gene the other day and will try to write again soon – he may be on patrol and be back on this side before long – Don’t worry about us – We’ll come out of this OK –

Write me whether you hear from me or not – for its hard to write in the field – So long for now –
