Dear Mom,

Your several letters arrived to brighten the day— Thanks for the news—

Imagine Audrey with a bambino I’ll bet that will be quite a kid—

Please send Geni’s address again as your letter arrived while we were in the field and I lost it— wish I knew where he was—he’ll probably let us know soon.

Bivouac was wet and cold – I had a slight cold when we went out – and strange to say I lost it while we were there as for the cough – It’s gone – I got rid of it soon after I came back from furlough. It was just an annoying tickle –

I asked about the allotment and I’m in the process of arranging it – I’ll help you posted –
