Dear Mother,

Your letter came this noon. I’m feeling fine, and hope you are all the same.  I’m getting lots of exercise now; I played volleyball most all day today.  My appetite is really good, and somehow the meals seem to hit the spot.  I wouldn’t be surprised if I put on a lot of weight in the next few weeks.

I certainly did enjoy my stay at home.  Hope it won’t be too long before I’m back again for good.

Nothing much else to write; I will keep you posted.

Lots of love.  Don’t worry.

Jackson
