Dear Mom & Dad,

Is now Sunday evening and it is raining. It started some time last night and has kept up ever since.

Some of the guys in our hut have been talking about farming and there is one guy in our hut that didn’t know potatoes bloomed. You meet everything around a camp.

I told you in the last letter that I would tell you what I forgot. Well I forgot to tell you when you got those pictures back have some reprints made and send them to me. Put a piece of cardboard in the envelope to them from bending.

We have liberty every night and liberty from Saturday evening to Monday morning. I haven’t gone on liberty yet. I just go to the P. X. to fill up on ice cream.

If you know anybody down around here write me and I will go visit them next weekend. See I can get off Sat. Evening and don’t have to be back till Monday morning.

Well I don’t know anything else to say so I think I will stop and write to Ann. I haven’t written her since I’ve been here.

With Lots of

Love Joe

P. S. Every time I go to chow I think of all that good home cooked food.
