My Darling,

Have already written you a little post script on last nites picture.  However, it won’t hurt to elaborate a little.  As I mentioned it was crazy but I enjoyed it.  That Lanna Turner sure is something.  Sweetheart if it were possible for you to have a rival she would be it.  She’s so damned appealing!

On the other hand it isn’t possible for you to have a rival for I love you too much and so completely there is no room for another.  Perhaps the reason I enjoy her performances is that in her expression and actions I could perceive a similarity to yours.  I have told you before that on seeing a young attractive girl I always seem to compare her with you.  Most of them register negatively but those that click do so because of their being like you.  Think that is a nice way to be as it proves conclusively that you are my ideal and the only person I shall ever love so wholeheartedly.  I was very fortunate to have gotten you so early in my life.  If every thing turns out well, just think of the many wonderful years before us.  I love you my Darling.

Was very much amused of your observations concerning Dad and his choice of office girls.  You should know your new Dad well enough by now to know what to expect of him.  He has Mom and that is all the beauty and loveliness he needs in women.  His office help was personally chosen for their brains and business capabilities. That is why you saw so many “plain janes” assembled in one place.  Their ability to do the work he requires of them is all that matters.  He has had some very pretty girls but at the same time they were very intelligent.  That is a rare occurrence amongst the female species.  You, my sweet one, are one of those rare occurrences.  An extremely lovely girl and an extremely intelligent and talented young lady.  If I do say so myself very aptly chosen by the young Mr. W. Jones.  Boy oh boy, did I slip that one in first!

Was I surprised to hear you got mom to play some tennis.  My admiration goes out to you Hon, you must certainly be the fair haired daughter.  You’re in solid!  Why up to Souietelles camp where Mom had the time of her life and there was no one around to see her, it was all Dad and I together could do to get her to even come up to the tennis courts with us.  What is the secret of your success anyway?  I think I can answer that myself.  It is just cause you’re you.

Well all I have done in this letter is heap compliments on your fair head so I might as well finish the job right.  Have heard there is a very ravishing young lady running around in the best of society in Luiney who bears my name.

Seems like that new suit of yours has made a hit with everyone.  Always have admired you particularly in a suit.  How you sure know how to wear them.  In fact anything you wear makes a hit with me.  All I’m waiting for now is the picture of you in the new suit so I can add my approval to all the rest.

Well Darling, by now you ought to come to the obvious conclusion that your husband is very much satisfied with you and very much in love with you.

                        All my love,

                        Warren
