Germany

Dear folk,

I know it has been much too long since you have received any mail, but I’ve been on the move and it was impossible to get any mail out.  I am on the move again, so if the mail is a little slow, don’t worry.  I saw my first concentration camp, all that you have ever read regarding them is true, and you didn’t get half the story.  I saw it all, I couldn’t believe it, but I actually saw it.  We soldiers here certainly need the prayers of every peace loving civilian.  This aggression must be stamped out now, forever.  Even the children’s minds here are twisted into terrible thoughts.  I have received two packages, and they certainly were appreciated especially the “hankies”.  I received your letters spo at all different times.  I don’t know which travels the fastest.  The weather here now is pretty nice, although I’m still wearing my long handles.  It gets pretty cold at nights I must close Keep praying

                                                                                                Your son
