Dear Mom:

Just a few lines to let you know I’m feeling alright and thinking of you. Has your gotten well as yet? Do you find it difficult to get around yet? Did you see the doctor about it?

The weather today is clear and cool. It’s just the kind of weather you like. I wish you were here, I know you enjoy it. They say, if it gets to hot in the summer, they go to Mount Hood to cool off. That’s pretty convenient, isn’t it?

Well, I haven’t anything else to say right now, so I’ll get off the line, hoping your knee has stopped bothering you and hoping everything is ok with Pop, the girls, and the boys.

                                                                                                                        Love to all
