Dear Mom,

There really isn’t anything to write about, other than to say that I went to the Jewish Services last night with a Jewish boy who is very nice and his home is in Brooklyn N.Y.  It makes a fellow feel like he is near home when he meets someone who is close to his hometown.  He went to Church with me one Sunday so I returned the issue by going to his services.  It was in English with the exceptions of a few prayers, and they were in Jewish.  Everything in the Jewish Bible is pretty much the same as ours, of course you know they don’t believe in Jesus Christ.  They read their books from back to front.  After the services we came outside and stood around a little while talking and he introduced me to some other Jewish people.  He introduced me as “Maurice Goldstein.”  I sure got a kick out of that.

Well, everything else is the same Mom, I’m still working on the line with the rest of the gang.  I don’t know how long that will last, but I’m still at it.

Now until a later date, I’ll close.  Hoping all at home are well and in good spirits.  Tell them I asked for them and hope they feel in the best.

Tell Pop I’m sorry to have missed sending him a card for his birthday and say I wished it was a Happy One
