Dear Mary and all:

Received your V. letter today and very glad to hear from you. I’m well and getting along alight so I guess I can consider myself lucky. It’s very nice of you to want to send a Xmas present and I appreciate it very much. There are a lot of things I would like to have but I know I can’t have those so I just make the best of it and hope that some day soon I can be back again with many and live like normal people. Anything you wish to send will be very welcomed and money is something I can always use. It goes very fast over here and besides we don’t make very much. I bet Guy is tickled pink with that bicycle but tell him not to break his neck on it. I bet you not only do good with your market but I guess you have lots of fun running it. I bet you meet all types of people too. Well space is gone as I will close for this time.

Love to all
