Germany

Dear Mary & all:

A few lines this evening to let you know I’ll still over here and doing fine. Have had a cold but it’s much better now. I felt rather miserable for a few days hope this finds everyone at your home fine and dandy. Had a v-letter from you yesterday and enjoyed hearing from you. This must have been a very hard winter over there. It’s been nice here today but we have had a lot of rain. I think we have had the last of our snow for this winter, at least I hope so. Has been quite a few planes over lately and yesterday afternoon I saw one get shot down and it was really a sight. Time were on him and it wasn’t long before it went down in smoke. Must close for now but will write soon.

Love to all,

Roland
