Dear Dot & Dana-

I didn’t write yesterday, I was waiting, thought I might get another letter but no luck, haven’t got any since the first day and I heard we wouldn’t get any more while we were here.

It is a nice hot day and I am not doing much of anything.  I guess I am getting awful lazy.  When I get home I’m afraid I won’t want to do any work at all.

No Dot, I won’t need my pea coat, probably I will never have to send for it.  When I get a chance I am going to send some more of my clothes home.

Which side of the house do you live in?  Where Actor used to live or the other side.

I can’t seem to think of a damn thing to write today, will try to do better tomorrow.  Don’t be mad!  This is better than none at all.  Isn’t it?

                                    Love and kisses,

                                                Beecher
