Dear Dot & Dana,

I just got through work tonight at six o’clock and I have to go back at twelve tonight so I will just write a few lines before I try to get some sleep.  I just took a shower and I am in my sack now.  It seems a little cooler tonight so I shouldn’t have any trouble getting to sleep.

I haven’t got any mail for quite a long time now.  I sure miss hearing from you. I am fine and I hope you and Dana are getting along all right.  How is Evelyn and her baby?  Do you get to see her very often?  She wrote me a letter just before my birthday but I haven’t answered it yet, I must soon.

Well Dot, it won’t be very long before Christmas and it don’t look as though we will be together to celebrate and I think it will be quite a sad day for me.  I guess I won’t be able to send you and Dana a gift as I haven’t even seen a town for a long time, but I will do the next best and send you some money to buy something for yourself and Dana—Gee honey wouldn’t it be a wonderful day if I could be home.  I guess I’ll hit the sack now and maybe I will dream about it.

            Good-night dear

                        Love and kisses,

                                                                                    Beecher
