Dear Dot and Dana,

Had an easy day yesterday, I worked about two hours in the morning and about one hour in the afternoon. So to pass the time away a bunch of guys and I played some soft ball in the afternoon and had quite a lot of fun. Last night I went to the movies (once upon a time) and it was terrible all about a cattipillow. And from 12 to 2 this morning I had to stand watch. Today we go out to sea and all night tonight. I think this will be our last trip if everything goes all right.

That ground is pretty rich where you are going to plant the garden so it won’t be necessary to put fertilizer on it. If you plant any potatoes of course you would need to fertilizer there.

No Dot, I don’t think I would enjoy eating breakfast in bed. I think I will be too glad to get up and look around, and besides I think Nana would see that I got up.

I had a friend pick up my white jumpers last night and they fit much better. But sometimes I would like to have some zippers put in them so keep an eye open for some about 10 to 12 inches long. Don’t bother to try and buy any but you might find some old ones somewhere. When I come home I will bring a couple jumpers home and have them fixed. Well, I managed to write two pages will close now.

Love and Kisses,

Beecher
