Dear Anna:

Received you most welcomed letter and I am glad to hear that everyone at home is in the best of health.

I received a letter from Rosalie and I understand Elsie is having trouble with her tonsils.  I hope it isn’t anything serious and I hope she will be alright again soon.

I hope Mom is well and tell her to take good care of herself and I also hope you are taking good care of yourself.

How about that trouble you were having with your teeth have you taken care of them and are you OK now.

I have been in several towns here and certainly is remarkable to see many things Ancient and Modern which I would never thought would exist in Africa.

In many places the hills are simply covered with flowers of all kinds it certainly is a very beautiful sight to see.  In the towns some of the homes are beautiful and surrounded with flowers.

The inhabitants here seem to be some what joyful and happy that they can again resume their normal civilian life in a peaceful way.

I am enclosing a few cards to give you some idea of the place.  I will send you more cards as I am able to get them.

I shall always always be thinking of you and hoping that some day soon we will be together again.  I often think about those real good of Parchesse games we used to have I certainly miss those good of times.

I close this letter with lots of Love to you and give my best regards to all.

Forever always yours,

            Tony
