Dear Anna:

Just a few lines to let you know that I have received your letters, Rosalie’s letter, and also your package. I want to thank you all for everything you sent me.

Since I have been in Africa I have written you several letters I hope that by this time you have received them.

I am in the best of health and I hope all of you are the same.
