Dear Anna:-

Received your most welcomed letter and I was very glad to hear from you and the rest of the family.

I received a letter from your mother and I certainly was very happy to here from her and I am glad to know that she is in the best of health and I hope she will continue to enjoy good health and happiness.

I received your card and read your news-paper clipping and I got quit a kick out of them. I think they are pretty good. The one about the woman and the stockings tickled me the most.

I hope you are right about seeing each other again but the way things look now I have me doubts of course no one knows just what will happen from one day to another I may be all wrong in the way I am thinking I certainly hope I am. However I will always be thinking of you and the good times we had together and let us hope that some day we will be together again.

In your letter you sound as though you have a cold I hope it isn’t anything serious and I hope you are doing something about it as I want you to take good care of yourself of course if I were there I am quit sure I would be able to help you and I am sure you agree with me.

I am glad to know that Em is getting along OK in his work and tell Elsie I received her letter and will answer as soon as I possibly can and if you see your mother before she gets my letter tell her it is on the way.

I will close now since the bugle is blowing for lights out. Lots of love to you and best regards to everybody.

Always yours,

Tony
