Camp Carson, Colo.

Dear Nick,

Will here I’m in the State of Colo. Now. I came here this morning. It seems to be a pretty good Camp. I’m in the Field Artillery now. I don’t know how long we are going to be here, but I hope it’s not long. If I ever get a furlough from here I’ll never get home. I’m almost broke now. Well I was wishing I’d get stationed close to home, and instead of that, they shipped me out here. Well I guess I’ll get to like it once I’m here a while. I hope so.

Have you heard from George lately? Does he expect to be shipped out soon? Have you heard how long you are going to be in Norfolk yet? Denver is about 10 miles from here. There are a couple of small towns around here also. When you write home tell them that everything is alright with me. I’m going to write home today also. Mom will be looking for me to come home, because I wrote and told her that I may get a furlough this month. Well I haven’t much more to write just now, but will write soon again. Answer real soon.

Your Bro,

Frank
