Tuesday Evening

My delightful husband,

I’m writing letters tonight, dear; to everyone I owe a letter. One is for you, dear.

How are you this evening, darling Nick? Tell me, what are you doing? Honey, did you work hard today? I’m fine, honey. I had your letter today, dear, and oh, honey, I love you. You know, honey, you write to me every other night. At least it seems so to me and I don’t like that. Anyways, honey, I love you. Yes, I miss you too. Honey, what are you doing tonight? Did you go to the movies last night? Honey, I was interrupted by Mr. Jarvis, we chatted for a while.

Darling, I worked hard today. We were busy typing. Mr. Kidwiler had different cards made for the files and he has asked me to work on Sunday.

Honey, I miss you tonight. I’m alone right now. Esta went to the Service club dance. Oh, honey, two elderly ladies have a room on the other side of us, and we can hear them snore. They tickle me. Do I snore, honey? I don’t think I do.

Now if we were together, honey, we would be asleep. It is eleven o’clock now and I’m so sleepy. I love my darling husband with all my heart. I had a letter from home written by my Dad. They are fine. Yes, dear, your parents are by themselves now.

Goodnight, dear. Take good care of yourself, sweetheart, for Rosemarie loves you with all of her heart. May God bless you, dear, and keep you.

            Sincerely yours,

                                    Rosemarie

P.S. I send all my love and each one of my kisses to my dearest husband. I love him dearly and truly. Sweet dreams, honey.
