Saturday Evening

Sweetheart:

Just got home from town. Another girl and I went down for a cake/coke and walked back slowly. It’s warm out and lonely. Darling, three letters today and oh, I am so so happy for you.

Darling, how are you? I am fine, dear, happy in my way and lonesome for you. I love you, darling mine, with all my heart. To be with you, dearest Nick, you know how I feel, dear, because we want to be with each other.

Congratulations, dearest Nick, oh, I am so so proud of you. You also get a better pay too. Oh, honey, how wonderful and I’m so glad for you. I love you, my darling. Just keep up the good work for you are doing fine.

Darling, what did you do today? I worked continually today on memorandums and I like to make them out.

Miracles may happen, darling, and you may get transferred closer. Oh, I do hope so. In two weeks, my darling, we ought to know if you will be transferred. If not, Rose is going to go, for a week to see her Nick.

I love you, my love, with all my heart. I want you to hold me in our arms and kiss me. Honey don’t let me go darling, not for a long time. I love my Nick and all day I love my thoughts of him, wishing I could be with him and held in his arm, so close, my darling, so that you can hear my heart beat.

Esta is away, darling, and I’m sleeping in another room with my girl friend. If you could only fly here and be with me. I miss you, my darling, very much.

Honey, I read and read. How lonely you write I love you, dear. Oh, honey, I love you too. Darling, I’m going to church tomorrow, oh darling, it is Saturday evening and we are so so far apart. To be with you, dear, and held close to your arms. Our love for each other is wonderful. The love I love for you, dearest Nick, overwhelms me and I want you. If you could be transferred nearer to Aberdeen.

Good night, dear, and I will see you again tomorrow. I send all me love and kisses to you and, honey, may God bless you. Take good care of yourself, honey. I love you.

                                                                                                                                Good night, dear,

                                                                                                                                   Lovingly yours,

                                                                                                                                          Rose Marie

P.S. I’m so sleepy, dear.

Sunday Morning

Darling:

I’m going to church this morning and after church I will mail your letter. How are you, honey? I love you, dear, so early in the morning.

With all my love,

Rose Marie
