Hello Nick:

Well, it’s about time I wrote you. How are you Nick? And Johnny? Oh yes, Cassidy takes care. Still at the same old job. I’m sorry I didn’t get around to see you boys again for there are so many places a fellow can go when he has a car and you know how a lot of boys are. I was at the beach the last couple of weekends. I was in Baltimore this weekend and to Mary to the beach. In the eve we went up to Carlins Park and what a mess of people, we could pick up more girls then we could take care of. We have some dated two weeks from now.. Imagine them coming up to us and try to make a hit and we had to disappoint them for we had a few on the string. I was at Colonial beach a few weeks ago and met a hot number and made a few dates and had to tell her I got a new post to get away from her. You see I took a few fellows along to Baltimore and they met a few girls and they took them to their houses giving them lodging and drinks and food. In the morning I took them in papa’s car showed them the town. By the way, Nick, I get my furlough on the 30th of the month for a period of ten days. Maybe, we could get together here and get to have the same time. Write telling me when you can get yours and maybe we could go home together. There’s a fellow in Baltimore who wants to buy my car and maybe I’ll sell for about $600. Say, maybe you could help me out on some dough. Try your best. Well I guess I’ll close for I’m going to the show. Excuse my writing for I’m writing on my bunk. How are the girls? Hope to see you soon and wish you the best of luck.

Nick
