Dear Nick,

We got your card and everything is all right at home.  Pee Wee came home on Sat. evening and went back to night.  He came with one of the guys from Somerset.  Pop is working yet but I don’t think he will after the 1st.  Because there is to be a coal strike.  It is pretty warm now but snow was falling yesterday.  We got a letter from Anna and she said she was at Washington.  Pee Wee did not give us any money because he did not get pay.  I heard that Drabe got his license taken away so he joined the Marines but I don’t know if that is true.  He is in North or South Carolina.  John Drabish’s wife had twins (girls) and both died.  When are you coming home for a while?  I read something about Aberdeen and R.D.T.C. but I don’t know what it was about.  Pee Wee is still what he used to be “Pat.”  We got our roofing paper and we may start after Easter to “break the ground,” for our mansion.  Clayton B. is going to the army on 31st.  Well, that is all, sending best wishes and regards.  Answer soon.
