Dear Nick,

Received your letter from home and was very glad to hear that you could spend your holiday at home.  I worked on X-Mas Eve and also X-Mas day I guess God will forgive me because I had to do it.  Tell me just what did you do with yourself at home, did you see anyone?  Did Arya P. and Paul come home?  How is the weather out there here you have about 3 inches of snow but the thing that strikes me funny is, when a few snow flakes start falling all these city kids get their sleds out and they’re ready to go sled riding, then I could laugh myself sick.  To tell you the truth since I’ve been in N.Y. I’ve never had a real good old fashion snow. To-day is my day off.  So I’m going to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned and then I don’t know what’ll I do yet I haven’t heard from Bill yet I guess he’ll call me sometimes this after noon.  I guess Tillie will be down at my house today, lately I can’t stand her, she can dress so sloppy at times, she doesn’t know how to comb her hair decent God knows I tell her about it often but she won’t listen, so I should worry.  Last Saturday Bill was over and we were talking about you and I show him your picture and he said he would like to meet you, so I told him some day he will.  His parents are in Florida so he’s staying with a friend of his a doctor.  Nick do you have a picture of me please send it to me, Bill wants one of me and I haven’t one to save my life, send the best one you have because he’ll be showing it off to all his friends that’s if you have one; if not don’t bother.  Mr. and Mrs. Seller are going to Florida for 2 weeks in about a week from now, so I’ll have to take care of the kids here.  I’ll close now.  Sending my kindest regards and loads of love.

Sis.
