Dearest, Dearest Bum- one day seems to be the same as all the others, you tend to forget the days, the only difference from one way to another is when your letters arrives Dear. I know it isn’t always possible to write but just a couple of words are enough to cheer you up. Your letters are always nice cheery ones.

Most of the fellows who went to Rutgers are here now. I was talking to some of them last night. They too would like to be here for a while i.e. long enough to get a weekend pass. Here’s hoping that something will come of it.

Bonzi, had his maj. snapped last evening so you may see how he looks in his fatigue uniforms. When you see me will you hold me close and wish ever so hard that I were there?

I get all your messages from the moon and they and it have been beautiful all during the week. I always think of the moon shining on the bay, we are both watching it shimmer on the waters. Our thoughts are the same dearest – We are the only two in the world. We will do it again one day Bunny dear. We’ll look back on this and laugh about it.

Honey, dear are you taking good care of your self? You must remember to get good nourishing food for yourself, force yourself to eat, after all dearest, Dennis and storage and David are dependent upon you, Not to mention bad Bonzi Please, Bonzi is saying –

I went to church today. You were with me all the time dear. We were following the services together. It made me feel a little closer to you Bum. The priest spoke about forgiving ones enemies - Using the story of the penitent woman as a basis for his sermon - Some day Mary dear, we’ll come back and go to the chapel together – it will feel so nice to worship together again – I sat next to another barrack orderly in fact we are in the same barrack. He is from upper New York – near Lake Placid, He is always talking about his home and his wife, really loves them – I can appreciate how he feels too – It would be nice to visit them when this fracas is gone and forgotten. Maybe on our second honeymoon, though we are still on our first. We’ll just forget everything Bunny Bum when I get back and retrace our steps – North of Effort, old orchard, Pittsford, Ticonderoga, and everything. You know I have two of your pictures Bunny – The beautiful one on the rock at Wild Loosing and the other in your terribly pretty little pin shorts at Watkins Glenn – Bet you’ll like that trip – Just as soon as we are together again – We won’t spare anything to make it complete – Will me you beautiful, beautiful darling – We’ll go on wishing dearest – soon it will come true – Bye for now sweetheart With all my love.

                                                                        Bad Bonzi, is good –

                                                                        Sometimes pretty good

                                                                        Yours, Frank
