Diane Darling,

Back again to the old grind but it was nice being with you this Christmas and New Years. The spirit of the new year season seemed to be lacking every place but I guess that is to be expected under the circumstances – after last year it was a real treat to be with my beloved once again- we will ring those bells and blow those horns you missed a little later and not clear till next new years either - I hope-

Went to Ft. McIntosh yesterday evening – strong punch and little sandwiches – no punch but double sandwiches for me – one to a bite.

Ill get the store cleaned in short ander-

Had a note my foot locker and ledding roll was sent on the twentieth of Dec. and addressed to 6919 – leave instructions in case it shows up – it will be collect from New Orleans – better still have them forward it here-

Loads of love darling lady - hope your H F has cleared up with the change in the wind and the taking down of the Xmas decorations –

Little Edwin
