                                                                                                                             Saturday

Darling Mine,

A little note, just a tiny one for the there is little to talk on, but I know that a letter is a letter to my ladybug. If things could be discussed or something happened I could write you every day but as things are it is difficult as you really know.

I am pushing the paper at the above place but I am still receiving my mail at the same old address and Jimmy brings it home to me. I do not know why I don’t change but I haven’t so I will let you know when to do so.

I suppose that you have gotten that letter off I gave to you in the US and I am anxious to hear what he has to say. Sometimes one is soon forgotten after parting but I don’t believe that it will be the case this time. I hope not and will let you know the results which I know that you want to know as badly as I do.

I am trying to get some tickets this afternoon for the department prize fights for tonite. They should be pretty ones as they are the finals of the tournament that has been going on for sometime. I know that you would like that and I do wish that you were here to go with me. I think that Dallas Big D was the last place that we were to some bouts together. Wrestling I believe. That’s a spell ago and I do believe that I was courting in those days also. Guess I didn’t do so badly for here you are bug of mine and am GLAD. Honey it is raining pitch forks or cats and dogs as you would have it and has been all day. I was thinking what a day to be home in SA with you there in the apt and a good supply Of Carta Blanca--ah me ah me--..

I sure hope that  that electric razor returns to you soon and that you get it down for me for I am about to scrape my face away. I guess that you had better send it airmail although it will cost a dollar or so if I am to get it soon. It will be all packed and all you will have to do will be re address it. You can use this letter for post office purposes of mail though I do not think you need it for airmail. It should be back in a couple of weeks.

Have you heard anymore word on Freddie Miller and his condition? Also if you ever see Krause you might mention to him the state of things and take a chance on it might do some good. One never can tell. Also don’t forget to follow up on that uniform of mine dear (comes under the head of unnecessary suggestions).

Well dearest lady this little note is at its end but I send my love and devotion of which there is an abundance. Love again.

                                                                        Edwin
