            Darling,

Here I am after a long and tiresome ride- straight thru but I stopped at every milk stop along the route- we arrived here this morning at 6:00 am. I got myself a room at the army hotel and caught about three hours sleep, a bath, a shave and fresh clothes- and now I feel better and ready for some more airplane riding. The next non-stop over the blue Caribbean. We had little food and foul weather along the route but our night shift was pleasant enough.

I am now waiting to see the priorities office for transportation and may get one in the morning- now that I am away from you I want to get an back to the mill-

Darling it was a wonderful ten days with you- we didn’t do much but just being with you was all I could ask- it would have been nicer for you had we been able to do something- but we will dearest, later. I love you tremendously my darling- you are a wonderful wife- and some how I feel I shall be back with you again before long- Love again my darling- adieu for now.
